Shipping Methods
To ensure reliable and affordable delivery, Von Berg partners with trusted local couriers, including The Courier Guy, Fastway, and other reputable logistics providers.
The specific courier used for your order will depend on your delivery location, the size and weight of your package, and service availability.
Shipping Destinations
We currently deliver to addresses within the Republic of South Africa.
International shipping is not yet available, but we are working toward expanding our reach soon.
Processing Time
All orders are freshly prepared and packed once payment has been received.
Please allow 1–2 business days for order processing (excluding weekends and public holidays).
Delivery Timeframes
Our standard delivery timeframe is typically 3 to 5 business days from the date of dispatch.
Major city centers may receive deliveries sooner, while outlying or rural areas may take slightly longer.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to courier schedules, load volumes, or unforeseen delays.
Shipping Days
Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (business days only).
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed the next business day.
Shipping Costs
Shipping fees are calculated automatically at checkout, based on your delivery address, the total weight, and dimensions of your order.
We occasionally offer free or discounted shipping promotions keep an eye on our website or newsletter for updates.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive an email with your tracking number and a link to track your parcel via the courier’s online portal.
Please note that tracking information may take up to 24 hours to become active after dispatch.
Delivery Attempts
Our couriers will attempt delivery to your specified address up to two (2) times.
If both attempts are unsuccessful, your parcel may be held at a local depot for collection or returned to Von Berg.
Should this occur, any costs for redelivery may be billed to the customer.
Incorrect Shipping Information
Please double-check your delivery details before completing your order.
Von Berg cannot be held responsible for delays or delivery failures due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.
If you need to update your shipping information after placing an order, contact us as soon as possible at info@von-berg.co.za
We’ll do our best to assist before the parcel is dispatched, but changes may not be possible once the courier has collected it.
Lost or Damaged Packages
While we take every precaution to ensure your order is securely packaged, issues can sometimes occur in transit.
If your order is lost or arrives damaged, please contact our team at info@von-berg.co.za within 48 hours of delivery, including your order number and photos of the item and packaging.
We’ll investigate the matter with the courier and provide a fair resolution, which may include a replacement or refund depending on the situation.
